1. Upholstery Services
We undertake most of our work from a craft workshop in Cheddar with a small team of fully qualified upholsterers and seamstresses with plenty of commercial and domestic experience between us. We practice both modern and traditional upholstery techniques and can turn our hands to most upholstery restorations.
We take great pride in our craftsmanship and also in our creativity. We can help you visualise and even re-imagine the finished piece not only in terms of its looks but also how it feels and how it works in its setting.
Book a no obligation, free consultation where we can advise you on the current condition of your furniture, the work that would be required to bring it up to a good standard and the most suitable fabrics and finishing touches.
For larger items, such as sofas, we can arrange a home visit. This will be either early morning, or late afternoon, to facilitate our shop hours. For smaller items, we ask that you bring them to our workshop at Barrows House, to allow us to give a close inspection!
We always have a waiting list, but we’ll advise a start date and aim to complete within 2-3 weeks of that date.
At Pretty Sitting, we want you to re-love your furniture and to bring it back into use for you to enjoy and, hopefully, for future generations.
For an informal chat please give us a call on 01934 752725 ext 301 for Jillian in Upholstery Sales or speak directly to Lucy in the Workshop on ext 302 or email email@example.com.
